We love capturing love

Hi! I'm Angela Johnson, the creative eye behind all the creations you see on this page, my Instagram and Facebook pages.

I am a simple, but sophisticated soul, always in search of capturing the love I see in everything!

My favorite are the moments that happen naturally, like the yawn of a newborn baby, the kiss of a parent on the forehead of their child, the sincere smile when your baby plays peek-a-boo in my studio.

My favorite types of sessions are everything BABY, everything BRIDAL, everything GLAM, and everything UNIQUE! Now, have I mentioned CHRISTMAS AND BIRTHDAYS? YEP! I LOVE A PARTY AND A CELEBRATION!

Why do I do photography?

​

In almost a decade in business, capturing such fleeting moments in time, I sometimes get teary eyed thinking about how fast my own daughter is growing.

​

I want to capture for YOU the same as I capture for MYSELF and MY FAMILY. 

​

YOUR first baby photos, or your first kiss as a married couple, the first family portrait out in the wheat fields next summer, and be YOUR photographer is just as important to me as capturing my own memories. Why? 

 

Because I just know how fast time goes by, and our little ones are constantly growing and changing, and that love should be captured ALL THE TIME!

How would I describe myself?

 

Funny, easy going, flexible, generous, creative, detailed, positive, sassy, a real bossy lady! LOL

our story

I am born and raised Brazilian! I met my husband at a bilingual education conference (He followed me around for 3 days straight, so I had no choice, but talk to him! LOL) in São Paulo, Brazil. I moved to the U.S. in 2009 to continue my studies as graduate student. My husband Eric and I fell in love, and I have been here ever since. I have been an educator, I have taught from preschool to higher education in the last 2 decades of my life, and I love it.

I started the business in 2012, and it just grew and grew, we built our amazing studio, Glam Studios in 2019. In almost a decade of work, I have to say that creating memories for my clients, family and friends has been THE MOST REWARDING experience ever. My love for people is genuine and getting to know each and every one of my clients is something that I love doing!

My daughter is my biggest inspiration, the reason I continue the work I do, and my husband, my biggest supporter!
